This is the worst thing could ever happen to you in a restaurant. Most especially if you are starving! This is something that I will really, really hate if it happens to me. I won't even give out that 15% tip if I think the service wasn't worth it. I really am a generous tipper only if the waiter deserves it. And I wouldn't even hesitate to give $10 for the tip if I was served excellently.

That is true. And I cannot imagine myself in the same situation you were in. I think you deserve the right to ask why they treated customers like that. Or at least demand some sort of explanation.

If I were in the same situation, I make sure to leave the place as soon as I felt like I am not treated well.
