These days it is really very important for us to save energy since the rate and cost of it consistently increasing. We should learn to conserve the energy we use at home especially when you have different kinds of appliances like television set, refrigerator, vacuum, and so on. Turn them off if not in use. It also starts within us. If we don't save energy we are still the ones to suffer.

It is amazing how much some appliances and light fixtures are left on without being used. I speak for myself, as I always am mindful to try to save electricity as much as possible, but I still find myself leaving the light on, forgetting to switch my monitor off when not in use, leaving the satellite reciever on after watching TV, or whatever else I have in my house that I could possibly use.

It is very economical nowadays to try to lessen the usage of electrical stuffs, gadgets and appliance in the house. For as we save energy, we are also able to save some money.

I do make sure that every unused appliance in the house are kept unplugged. I do budget time in using appliances. I do not use them all at the same time. Except of course for those appliances that needs to be plugged in 24 hours a day.
