| Eating out is nice but being Frugal is better.... We all love to eat out dont we ? But eating out can be very costly and more often than none we get sick of eating out because eating the same things week after week, in rotation can get quite old. So whats a Frugal person to do ?

| Being frugal means you have to keep your budget still without taking costs of your everyday needs. Eating out may be a form of extravagance, but you can do it most likely, let's say once in a week? A lot of researches have shown that foods found in fast food chains appear to have higher incidence of getting its consumers at increased risk of diseases. There is no safer way of eating a meal that you know how it was done and its ingredients. Left over foods from breakfast my bring something delightful for a dinner. A stale rice may add up to the dinner's menu as fried rice. Or perhaps, left over meat may be an ingredient for tonight's pasta. A home cooked meal, is the safest way to indulge yourself without getting worried of how it was prepared and delivered. |
| "Eating Out vs Eating at Home "
That is true. It is important that we do mind our budget most especially during these hard financial times that we are into. You can eat out once in a while but try to just cook something special at home. This would make you save up with your expenses and still manages to eat delicious food. We have to keep an eye to where we spend our money. There is no good in spending too much. |
| Though I firmly agree with eating in to save money, I do understand why many people eat out, as the saying that time is money rings very true. This is perhaps more in the case of single persons, as it can take as long to prepare yourself a semi decent meal, as to prepare it for a small family. The time it takes you to do shopping, meal prep, and clean up sometimes is more hassle than grabbing a bite on your own. |
| I believe it is essential to save but it is not that bad to enjoy the fruits of your labor, just don't go over board with spending for it not to be called wasting. I for one am the prefect example of this, I can be quite a snob when friends invite to dine out but when I have excess, i am the ones treating them just to make up for those lost times. |
