Thank author of this post/commentFrugal and always stick to my budget when traveling. Being a single parent vacationer has its pluses, as I can control ...out when you are at the checkout page.  There is an initial deposit of $200 for all packages and the reservation ...eating with children made this easier. The portions are huge so you wont starve and at the end of the trip, ...

Thank author of this post/comment"Frugal Disney!"

Don't go! Go to the woods and have a nice picnic or something else in natural away from the plasticized world!

Wow the tips mentioned in the original post are really useful. I often treat my kids to amusement parks and it seems like I am spending too much. I want to be frugal but sometimes it's so hard most especially if the kids ask something.

In terms of eating out we can save a little. There are a lot of food booths around the place where we can buy some small food. If we dine out we can go to some cheaper restaurant and that's so great.

I salute you for being able to pull of a trip to Disney on a budget. It takes careful planning to be able to do that. I guess it also helps that there are only 2 of you who went on a trip to Disney.

Thanks for the tip on packages that we can avail of through Disneyworld's website.

I, myself, prefer do-it-yourself trips. I plan my family's trips, come up with an itinerary based on my research and make sure that everyone will enjoy.

Kids really love to go out and eat out also. And one of their most favorite destination would be amusement parks particularly Disney Land. But I have to say that if you really want to go on Disney land you have to prepare yourself to spend a lot of money. But anyway, you can always look for some ways to have a trip on a budget. Besides the joy of your kids are priceless, right?

If you are planning for a vacation you really needed to have a good budget and a strategical way to save to it. Going out of children is too expensive specially if they saw things or food they desire to acquire. You may go to food courts in the mall or some open parks for picnic. But if you are planning to go like Disney land then you have to prepare a huge budget for it.
