10 Money Saving Tips

Thank author of this post/commentThis might be hard you might not stick to it, but having a budget acts as a guideline after a few months you will get the routine and find where you need to make necessary realistic adjustments and you will follow it. This is a process be patient and be realistic, and be as frugal as you can when you need to be so misc needs not be as much as groceries, have as many things outlined so you can track your expenses.

8. Check your credit report annually for accuracy.
They cannot change accurate information but they can ensure that you have no false information. I recommend doing on before you apply for a mortgage rate or anything that you need a check, also if you have a bad rating and you are working on it, it then you need to do a check probably every 4-6 months to see where you stand I mean it does not affect your rating. The free one is great to see what is on your credit but you need to pay if you want to see your score, for about $22 dollars you can have peace of mind and be fully equipped.
9. Contribute to a retirement account.
The more places you find to put your money the less you will find that it will be floating around and unaccounted for. Save for your future, decide at what age you want to retire and ensure that you can afford it. RRSPs are great because small contributions can pay off big, and this would be nice with your pension later on.
Automated transactions are great simply have them deducted the same day as you get paid and you will have all your bills paid , your 10% saved monthly, your retirement account will also be taken care of and no money has passed through your hands, whatever is left will be yours, but this should not be more than 20% if so increase your monthly savings.
10. Comparison shop for the best deal on your mortgage or refinancing.
Do not simply resign, even in the middle of a contract shop around this means that you will get the best deal possible and that you are saving, small amounts overpaid per month will add u. Imagine $50 extra per month, that is $600 a year and $3000 for 5 years do you simply want to give $3000 of your hard earned money away?
This is by no means an exhaustive list, I will update more tips to save
It pays to be frugal F.F.
