Are Baby Carrots a Convenience Food?

Thank author of this post/commentI had never really thought about baby carrots being a convenience food until I did my grocery shopping at Target a couple of weeks ago. At Aldi, I am able to get baby carrots for $.78 a bag and it doesnt *seem* like much more than the carrots that are not processed.

Thank author of this post/comment"Processed Food"

Why would anyone eat any processed "food" for any reason? Regardless of the price it is neither healthy nor frugal!
