| Does clutter make you happy? When I look around me, I see all the things that I thought I should keep or buy because I might need or want them.In reality, I am cornered in my own home by the clutter I have wasted my money on. I could be vacationing in some remote sunny area instead of working in a cramped little corner of a bedroom surrounded by piles of stuff. What was I thinking? Why am I compelled to spend money on stuff that just sits around? I always have good intentions, such as making that afghan out of all that yarn in the basket over there. I could use the lap loom, I could use the crochet hooks, the knitting needles... I could go and actually make a scrapbook out of all the background paper and stickers I have, but I don't have time because I have to spend my time making more money to buy useless stuff. It isn't useless unless you have no time to spend enjoying it. Vicious circle that it is, I don't know how to cope. Maybe I am a hoarder. |
| I think you are indeed slowly transforming into a hoarder, but you still have hope because you are still aware of all the inconvenience your habit has brought to your way of living. Do you have anyone to share your space with? How about inviting a sibling or a good friend to do the scrap booking and sorting out for you? What are these clutters anyway? If you can't take out most of them (example like expensive action figures) then it is time to rent or buy a larger space you'll put all your stuff in. And do save some money will you? |

It is not good to hoard stuffs. You will just end up having no space for new items at all. And so try to dispose of those stuffs that you do not need. There is no use on keeping them in your home. They would just eat space. You can make money out of them as well. Try to put up a garage sale. And besides too much clutter at home is not good. |
