| I've seen Groupon somewhere but only in passing. After reading more about it, it seems to me that Groupon is a good deal to join and take advantage of. The only thing is that it is only available for US locals where the deal is offered. Maybe someday they will also launch internationally? |

What a great idea for a business and how stupid for the consumer.It is designed to inflate sales by encouraging impulsive purchasing habits. 50% savings is great on something you want and need, it is terrible on something you don't want or need. I think coupons are generally bad because they influence your decision based on a perception of saving money and away from making an informed and intelligent purchasing decision. |

| It seems that groupons are getting popular and widely used in different countries. I think this concept of group coupons for big, big discounts started in the United States. Now, the use of groupons has also conquered Manila, Philippines. More and more websites are now offering great deals to people who avail of these groupons. I myself was able to get 2 groupons for an hour and a half of massage for only $5 each instead of its regular price of $20. What a steal! |
| That is true. I think it is very crucial for any establishments to go for what is trendy most especially when it comes to businesses. I think this kind of stuffs, the groupons are great to attract lots of customers and possible loyal clients.
